Brussels – Michele Ceotto, researcher of Theoretical Chemistry of the University of Milan received the ERC Consolidator Grant of 2014 for €2 million with the SEMICOMPLEX project. The prestigious grant allows Ceotto to create a higher education center in the field of theoretical chemistry, in which to devise new quantum theories to be later applied in the production of nano-materials that can be used to reduce urban air pollution. The ERC grants are the most prestigious handed out by the European Union to the best projects presented by researchers around the world. (9Colonne)
