Rome – The Ministry for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation strongly condemns the brutal attack by Somali al-Shabab militants at Garissa University. The attack, which took place yesterday, 2 April 2015, caused the death of about 150 Christian students. The Farnesina – through a note – extends its solidarity, and that of the Italian people, to the Kenyan government and people and to the families of the victims, in the certainty that Kenya’s democratic institutions will take a firm approach in their reaction to terrorism.
