Sofia – This morning, Sofia hosted, in the presence of the Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Benedetto Della Vedova, the first Economic Forum Bulgaria-Italy “Together for growth”, jointly sponsored by the Italian Embassy in Sofia, the Italian Trade Agency – Sofia Office, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria, and Confindustria Bulgaria. “Our impression is that a new cycle is about to begin, thanks to the substantial amount of EU funds allocated to the Multiannual Financial Framework 2014-2020, and that Bulgaria and Italy have all it takes to boost investment and growth,” commented Della Vedova. The Undersecretary continued, “to boost foreign investment in Bulgaria, alongside comparative advantages, such as low labor costs, tax concessions, skilled labor, there should also be a renewed commitment in the field of reforms and the rule of law, particularly with regard to justice, and transparency, competitiveness, and the legal certainty of the market.” (9Colonne)
