Brussels – “This year’s EU Prize for Cultural Heritage fills us with pride, with three Italian projects among the twenty-eight winners. The Commission wanted to recognize the commitment, professionalism and competence with which the Italian interventions were carried out: the restoration of the Giants Mont’e Prama, the protection of the mosaics of the Basilica of Aquileia, and the enhancement of the treasures in San Marco in Venice. This is an important result, which encourages us to continue protecting and promoting our national cultural heritage.” This is the enthusiastic comment of the Minister of Heritage, Cultural Activities and Tourism, Dario Franceschini.
