Athens – The Mediterranean is in Piedmont, between Asti and Cuneo. Thanks to the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners (ICIF), a delegation of Greek wine operators is arriving in Piedmont for three days of confrontations, meetings and visits. The goal is to give new impetus to the economies bordering the Mediterranean and strengthen the role of Italian wine in the region. The tour is scheduled for April 19-22 and will see the Greek delegation – composed of entrepreneurs, food and beverage managers, representatives of Chambers of Commerce – take part in meetings with the leaders of the Telematic Stock Exchange at the Chamber of Commerce of Cuneo, and in a cooking seminar at the ICIF Aula Magna in Costigliole d’Asti. The Greeks will also have the opportunity to learn about the business fabric of Piedmont through a series of visits to Caseificio Valle Josina (Peveragno – Cn), Distilleria Berta (Mombaruzzo – At), and the Enoteca Regionale di Canelli (At).
