Cologne – On May 5, Antonio Scurati will be in Cologne to present his new book “Il tempo migliore della nostra vita,” published in Italy by Bompiani and translated into German. Leone Ginzburg was a hero of the Resistance who never braced any weapons, and Scurati’s novel tells his true story alongside that of the author’s grandparents, Antonio and Peppino, Ida and Angela, ordinary people who lived under fascism and the bombs of World War II. The presentation will be held at 7pm at the headquarters of the Italian Cultural Institute in Cologne. (9Colonne)
