Munich – Friuli Venezia-Giulia and Bavaria intend to subscribe a new memorandum of understanding to formalize the collaboration between the two regions in the economic, transport, research and culture sector. The MoY will have as its centerpiece a stronger role for the Port of Trieste. The two Presidents of the Regions, Debora Serracchiani and Lorenz Horst Seehofer, met today in Munich at the Bavarian State Chancellery, and decided to immediately start a bilateral comparison that will begin with the organization of a ‘forum’ for experts in the two administrations. This was the first official meeting between the two presidents at the State Chancellery. The signing of the agreement is expected to take place by the end of the year, in Trieste. (9Colonne)
