La Plata – The National University of La Plata recently opened its “Centro de Estudios Italianos.” The ceremony was attended by the Dean of the Law Department Vicente Santos Atela, the director of the Institute of International Relations (IRI) Norberto Consani, the Consul General of Italy in La Plata Iacopo Foti, and the Secretary of Institutional Relations of the National University of La Plata Javier Diaz. The center is a collaboration between the Consulate General of Italy and IRI and aims to deepen the study and analysis of the political, economic, social and cultural situation and dynamics in Italy, with particular reference to Italy-Argentina and Italy-Latin America relations.
