May 18 -The RAI National Symphony Orchestra pays tribute to the 18 March victims of the Tunis National Museum of Bardo with a chamber music concert. The event is scheduled this afternoon at 6:30pm in Tunis, at the site of the attack. The President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella, and the President of the Republic of Tunisia Beji Caid Essebsi are both scheduled to attend. The Rai Orchestra “Quartetto Noctis” will perform chamber music of two great Italian opera composers: Giuseppe Verdi and Giacomo Puccini. The concert – which will be broadcast by Rai5 – is organized by the Italian Embassy and the Italian Cultural Institute in Tunis, in collaboration with the Tunisian Ministry of Culture and Heritage Protection and Rai.
