(Jun. 4) New international recognition for the University of Trieste and for Maurizio Viezzi, professor of English. During the General Assembly of the CIUTI, the Conférence internationale Permanent instituts universitaires et de translators interpreters, held in recent days at the Lomonosov Moscow State University, Professor Viezzi has been elected president for the 2015-2018 period. The CIUTI brings together the leading universities in the world which are involved in training and research in the field of translation and interpretation. Established in 1960 and characterized by strict admission criteria, the CIUTI has forty members in an area covering four continents (Europe, Asia, America and Oceania). (Red)
