June 17 – Italy’s innovation wins abroad, thanks to four young students selected by the Consorzio Roma Ricerche and their project “Bagnolet – Un jardin en divenir.” Luca Bartolucci (ISIA), Andreas Kamaris (IED), Lavinia Rinaldi (ISIA) and Giorgia Tradico (QUASAR) won first prize at the European Street Design Challenge in Paris, the show devoted to the most innovative projects and prototypes for the digital industry. Second place went to the French hosts, tied with the Indian team, and, third the Russian representatives. “It’s a great satisfaction that rewards our young talents – commented Fabio De Furia, president of the Consorzio Roma Ricerche and vice president of the Miami Scientific Italian Community – this emphasizes the great work done by the entire scientific board of the Consorzio Roma Ricerche. It is important to encourage young people and guide them towards increasingly ambitious goals. Our greatest heritage, today, is precisely those students who demonstrate the ability and potential to be the true ambassadors of Made in Italy in the world and that, in the very near future, will be the main protagonists of the evolutionary dynamics related to our economic, scientific and societal system.”
