Sarajevo – The Justice Minister Andrea Orlando signed with his Bosnian counterpart Grubesa a bilateral agreement attached to the European Convention on Extradition. The goal is to strengthen judicial cooperation between the two countries by introducing the possibility to extradite citizens of either country for serious offenses (organized crime, corruption and money laundering) and to combat more effectively trafficking and terrorism. The signing of the agreement represents a common response to the threat of jihadist terrorism that touches the Balkan region and the flow of illegal immigration. (9Colonne)
