Chungjiu – Giorgia Lo Bue, 21 years old, is a medicine student at the University of Palermo and an athlete of Canottieri Palermo. She was selected by the Italian Rowing Federation to represent Italy at the Universiades in Chungjiu, South Korea (scheduled for July 5-7). Giorgia has just won with her sister Serena (also a student at the University of Palermo) the bronze medals in the doubles of the Italian Championship. At the Universiade, she will be the only rowing representative from Sicily, in the individual competitions. Georgia Lo Bue is already part of the national selection that will represent Italy in Plovdiv (Bulgaria) for the Under-23 World Championship scheduled for July 23-26. (9Colonne)
