Isatay – The CEO of KazMunayGas, Sauat Mynbayev, and the CEO of Eni, Claudio Descalzi, finalized an agreement laying down the conditions for the transfer to Eni of 50% of the exploitation rights of the subsoil for the research and production of hydrocarbons in the block Isatay, located in the Kazakh waters of the Caspian Sea. The block, which is estimated to have considerable potential for oil resources, will be managed by a joint operating company formed by Eni and KMG. The agreement was signed in the presence of President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, and the President of the Italian Council, Matteo Renzi. (9colonne)
