Brussels – Immigration, social policies and human rights. These are the topics that will be discussed on Thursday in Brussels, at the headquarters of the Committee of the Regions. The working group coordinated by the President of the Regional Council of Molise Vincenzo Niro, will see the President of the Regional Council of Friuli Venezia Giulia Franco Iacop participate as Coordinator of the Legislative Assemblies of Special Statute Regions and Autonomous Provinces. On these issues, the working group set up within CALRE, the Conference bringing together at the European level the regions with legislative powers, has already developed a number of arguments in the last year concerning the right to asylum, cooperation, integration among the EU Member States and has done so by confronting different European partners active in Spain, Austria, Belgium, Italy. The group compared individual legislation and considered how to harmonize EU regional policy and how to encourage the integration process in the territories. (9Colonne)
