Kabul – In recent days, the Italian military in the command of the NATO mission “Resolute Support” (RS) in Kabul donated to the Allaudin orphanage of the Afghan capital. The donation consisted of necessities acquired with the proceeds collected for charitable purposes in the footrace “Run with Italy for Charity.” The race took place on June 7, during the celebrations for the LXIX anniversary of the Italian Republic. The Allaudin orphanage is among the largest Afghan structures that support and welcome orphans, especially children, many of whom are also victims of the negative effects of prolonged war. In particular, the donation went in favor of the 110 boys and girls, aged between 4 and 18, currently housed in the structure. (9Colonne)
