15 July, 2015 – Contemporary art in Tel Aviv takes on new forms on Monday, August 17 at 6pm, when the library of the Italian Institute of Culture hosts “Contemporary art: Italy and Israel – two worlds compared”. Organized by the Institute in collaboration with Art Tribune, the meeting will see the participation of Giorgia Calò, editor in chief Artribune Israel, Ph.D., historian, art critic and freelance curator. The conference will focus on the state of contemporary art in Italy and Israel: two worlds characterized by different traditions and modalities that however – explains the Institute in a note – offer the attentive observer numerous parallels. The conference is an opportunity to present to the public the first issue of “Artribune Israel,” the first international brand experiment by Artribune, Italian free press dedicated to contemporary art, established in 2011.
