Hanoi – Vietnam may be the new horizon for Emilia-Romagna’s production system, which is distinguished by its style, technology and quality – all elements that are highly prized in a country that has GDP growth rates of 6%, is gateway to the ASEAN market, and represents the EU’s third largest trading partner. To support Emilia-Romagna SMEs in the search of new opportunities in Vietnam, facilitating contact between operators through the organization of business meetings and company visits with local buyers, Unioncamere Emilia-Romagna has recently activated a desk in Vietnam. The organization is also suggesting the participation in two business missions scheduled for the fall in the Asian country: “Lifestyle” October 26-30 in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, and “Green Technologies” November 24-27 in Hanoi. The initiative is part of the European project EVBN – EU Vietnam Business Network. With support of the European Union and the Chambers of ‘Emilia-Romagna, the participation fee is subsidized and includes various services. (9Colonne)
