12 August, 2015 – The International Multimedia Festival “PatosOFFiranje” of Smederevo, organized by Teatro “Patos” and now in its 11th edition, has a bit of Italy in it. The Italian Cultural Institute in Belgrade is promoting and supporting the presence at the event of the Compagnia “Aulò Teatro” from Padua, which had already participated in the previous edition with the wildly successful show “Charivari. Danse macabre”. During the Festival, the Italian Company will also hold an interactive 10-day seminar on the art of street theater. At the end of the seminar, there will be a practical session on the myth of Anguana, a water creature present in both Triveneto and Balkan mythology. The show will go on stage instead August 27-31 at the Teatro “Patos” in Smederevo, with the Italian company sharing the stage with Patos. “PatosOFFiranje” brings together artists from 25 countries – including Italy, Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro and Serbia. It was born 11 years ago as Ar.Co. (Artistic Cooperation), supported by Interreg III A Trans-Adriatic Project funding. During the event, there will be street theater performances by national and international companies, shows, exhibitions, workshops, and concerts. (Red)
