Abu Dhabi – As part of an international cooperation program with the United Arab Emirates, Fincantieri carried out in recent weeks a special training program in Genoa, at the headquarters of the Group’s Cetena – Center for the Study of Marine Engineering. The courses were open to students of the Higher Colleges of Technology and the Khalifa University of Science, Technology and Research, both based in Abu Dhabi and among the most prestigious of the whole MENA area. The aim of the course was to raise awareness of Italian excellence in the marine sector in its various aspects (military, cruise, megayachts) and boost Italy’s relationship with leading UAE universities that are opening up to the naval field.
