19 August, 2015 – A new classic is born, the latest masterpiece created by Ferrari Tailor Made and on display on the famous golf course of Pebble Beach is a red California T with an ivory white roof, the perfect example of the collaboration between the Ferrari design team and the client to create the car of your dreams. The Concours d’Elegance at Pebble Beach is one of the most anticipated events by fans and collectors of vintage cars. And so this new California T was realized following the example of a classic car: the color, called “Red Ferrari”, is that of the 125 S, the first Ferrari of all time. But there are also details that bring back to modernity: the chromed front grille, polished rims and the caliper black brakes give the car a modern and stylish look. The roof in ivory “250 Europa GT” adds a sophisticated and unexpected contrast. And most importantly, the luxurious interior, chosen with the utmost care and attention to detail, make this California T particularly rich in details. The Tailor Made program takes its cue from the world of Interior Design, and this car perfectly illustrates this concept: the interior recalls a study or a reading room; the burgundy leather seats with diamond inserts in ivory leather recall the Dezza chair by Gio Ponti; the warm and traditional opulence of the leather is opposed to the shiny colors of the dashboard and the central bridge. The steering wheel has finishing touches in red bordeaux leather, as well as part of the inside of the doors and the dashboard. The California T Tailor Made has been exposed on the exclusive first tee at Pebble Beach.
