October 2nd, 2015 – “Pinocchio, a street child” is the title of a theater workshop for children by actor Oberdan Cesanelli. On 19-21 October, the Italian Cultural Institute of Buenos Aires will set it up in collaboration with the Consulate General of Italy, the CGIE (General Council of Italians Abroad) of Bahía Blanca, and the Italian Schools Edmondo De Amicis, Italian Cultural Center School of Olivos, and Alessandro Manzoni in Villa Adelina. The event is promoted as part of the Week of the Italian Language in the World, whose 15th edition (to be held October 19-24) is devoted to “Italian music, and the musicality of Italian.” The initiative aims to promote the Italian language as great classical culture and contemporary art, and is organized by the cultural and diplomatic network of the Foreign Ministry every year, in the third week of October, around a theme that serves as a common thread for conferences, exhibitions and shows, meetings with writers and experts.
