New York – Jazz songwriter Chiara Civello is celebrating the US release of “Canzoni” (released by Sony), her last album. Roman by birth but American by adoption, Chiara Civello is back in America in style, given that New York City Mayor Bill De Blasio chose her to sing at the Italian Heritage Celebration. The celebratory evening dedicated to Italy and its cultural heritage took place in recent days in the historic setting of the Metropolitan Museum (New York). Civello will also perform live in four exclusive locations: after New York (Joe’s Pub – At The Public Theatre), on October 14 in Boston (Scullers Jazz Club); October 18 in Miami (North Beach Bandshell); and October 19 in Washington DC (The Hamilton).
