November 3rd, 2015 – The Campania Region participates, until 5 November, at the World Travel Market in London, one of the most important international exhibitions for the sector. The regional representatives are accompanied by over 70 accredited operators who will showcase to the world what Campania has to offer: its immense wealth of sea and culture, spas and natural parks. The initiative will detail the actions and activities that can help Italian and foreign tour operators attract new tourist flows to the region. As part of the fair, the Campania Artecard Grand Tour 2016 will be presented, which this year proposes a number of religious paths and art related to the theme of the Jubilee – Treasures of the Mercy. The region’s offer includes nocturnal visits in the archaeological areas of Pompeii and Herculaneum, dawn visits of Paestum Minori, as well as new occasions to visit the Rione Terra di Pozzuoli and the Reggia in Caserta. As for transport dedicated to tourists, the London event provides an ideal to present the initiatives related to the ways of the Sea, with connections from Cilento and Amalfi with Capri and Naples, and the Campania Express that links Naples with Herculaneum, Pompeii and Sorrento. Today, the ENIT stand is hosting a press conference scheduled to present the regional initiatives as well as a selection of events and festivals of particular interest. These include the programming of the Teatro di San Carlo, which will be illustrated by the Superintendent Rosanna Purchia. The Campania Region will be represented in London by Councilors Sebastiano Maffettone and Patrizia Boldoni. (Red)
