Bogota – The exchange of scientific and entrepreneurial excellence between Tuscany and Colombia has officially begun thanks to a Memorandum of Understanding signed between Bogotá, Florence and Pisa during the Italy-Colombia Business Forum which saw the participation of the Vice President of the Republic Colombia, Germán Vargas Lleras, and the Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi. The agreement, signed with an advanced electronic signature system on tablet, brings in seven realities: the Italian Chamber of Commerce for Colombia, the Chamber of Commerce of Florence and Pisa, the Port Authority of Livorno, the CERM (Centre for MRIs, Florence), CESVITER (a research center on innovation and regional development based in Rome) and CIF (Centro Internacional de Fisica, Bogota). The six-page agreement details the creation of a reserved outlet for Tuscany’s scientific and entrepreneurial excellences, useful to open new markets for their products and to use their know-how for Colombia’s growth.
