Paris – At the beginning of 2016, Bic Lazio Technopole Tiburtino opens its doors to FabSPACE 2.0, the first Fab Lab of the Lazio Region entirely dedicated to the aerospace industry. FabSPACE 2.0, which recently received the green light from the European Commission, is funded by Horizon 2020. The project will kick off with the help of the Lazio Region, through Bic Lazio, and the University of Tor Vergata (Teo Lab – Tor Vergata Earth Observation Laboratory). The initiative brings together fifteen partners from six European countries (Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Italy and Poland), the European Business Network and those European BIC members who have projects with the European Space Agency, and with universities in the area; the principal applicant of the initiative is the French University Paul Sabatier Toulouse III.
