Brazzaville – Training of staff, provision of diagnostic materials and restoration of the main Pointe Noire-Brazzaville railway line, the construction of a direction center in Brazzaville and the design of a metropolitan line that will connect the new district to the center of town: these are the main commitments in Congo for the Italian FS Group. A commitment that was reiterated in a meeting by the managing director Michele Mario Elia with Jean-François Coutin, Director General of the Congolese Railway Network (Chemin de Fer Congo-Océan, CFCO) and Ferréol Gassakys, Advisor to the Minister of Transport. This represents a new important step to strengthen the collaboration between the two companies, which began in February in Rome with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding in the presence of Prime Minister Renzi and the President of Congo Denis Sassou Nguesso.
