November 11th, 2015 – “I hope that this co-production brings out the image of the Mediterranean not just as a place of human tragedies, but also as a place of opportunity, research and opening”, said the Secretary General of COPEAM (Conference Permanent Mediterranean Audiovisual), speaking at the first workshop for the new Euro-Arab co-production for Inter-Rives V “Stories of travels and seas”, produced by COPEAM (Permanent Conference of the Mediterranean) and ASBU (Arab States Broadcasting Union). “This first workshop – explains a note by COPEAM – brought together in Tunis 16 directors of the co-producing televisions (Algeria, Croatia, Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, Italy, Malta, Morocco, Palestine, San Marino, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Tunisia, and Turkey), who compared and shared publishing projects and methods of work on the realization of the documentary series with a team of international experts. Malesani in his visit to Tunis also met the President and Director General of the Tunisian Television, Mustapha Ben Letaïef, and the Secretary General of the Tunisian Radio, Raouf El Housseini, with whom COPEAM has cooperation projects in the pipeline.
