November 18th, 2015 – Gian Antonio Stella and Albanian writer and journalist Mustafa Nano will meet in Tirana for the project “From the beaches to the landings, the world tour of books.” The two have a date next Thursday at the National Library, thanks to the Association Libri d’Acqua, which manages the project in collaboration with the Association of Italian Entrepreneurs in Albania, the Italian Cultural Institute in Tirana, LBN Editor and Library Adrion. The exercise consists in a literature review designed by psychologist and psychotherapist Vera Slepoj to bring writers and intellectuals on a world tour. The underlying theme is water, a symbol and vehicle for exploration, knowledge, and change. Mustafa Nano, a graduate in electrical engineering, is a journalist who wrote for several newspapers and currently writes for “Shqip”. He starred in many televised debates and has designed some TV programs. His most famous one was Deja Vu, in collaboration with Top-Channel. Nano also authored four essays, the last of which, entitled “Pax Albanica”, speaks of the spread of religious beliefs in the history of Albania and in Albania today. In December 2004, Nano received the Italian journalism prize “Saint Vincent” from President Carlo Azeglio Ciampi. (Red)
