Astana – Italy formalized with the authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan the decision to participate in the 2017 International Exhibition in Astana, accepting the invitation that had been extended in past months. Expo Astana, from 10 June to 10 September 2017, focuses on the theme “Future Energy”. The concept of sustainability is developed in relation to responsible and efficient energy production, also in its relations with the environment and with particular regard to renewable energy. After the huge success of the Universal Exhibition in Milan, and to give it continuity, Expo Astana is a new opportunity to show Italy’s ability to contribute to the international debate on key issues for the future of humanity.
