Dubai – Tomorrow, professor Giovanni Grasso of the University of Palermo will co-chair the International Congress of Neurosurgical Society “Walter E. Dandy,” scheduled in Dubai. The meeting, which will last three days and two more days for theoretical and practical courses, will be held jointly with the 5th Congress of the Neurosurgical Society of the Persian Gulf. Many scholars from different countries will meet to discuss the new frontiers in the diagnosis and treatment of major diseases of the central nervous system. The University Hospital of Palermo uses modern technologies in neurosurgery for the treatment of tumors, vascular and spinal, reaching important results in the field of scientific and clinical research. The participation of Giovanni Grasso, associate professor in the Department of Experimental Biomedicine and Clinical Neurosciences led by Prof. John Zummo, is a prestigious recognition to the entire neurosurgery department of the University Hospital of Palermo, headed by Professor Iacopino.
