New York – This afternoon, the Italian House Zerilli Marimò in New York, home of the Department of Italian Studies of New York University, hosts a meeting with Amara Lakhous, 46 year-old Algerian writer who has been living in Italy since 1995. His keen eye explores Italian identity, categorizing it in: very Italian, Italian, anti-Italian and new anti-Italian. His latest novel, “La zingarata della verginella di Via Ormea” will soon be translated into English. (9Colonne)
