December 22nd, 2015 – The “long wait” is finally over, not only in Italy but also in Europe, as Marlene Kuntz release their new album (entitled “The Long Wait” – Lunga Attesa) on January 29 for Sony Music Italy, and will then begin touring in late February. After Europe, the group will perform throughout Italy from March to April. On February 25, the Italian group takes the stage in Paris (at L’Alimentation General), on 27 February in Brussels (Vk), on 28 February in London (Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen), on February 29 in Dublin (Whelan’s), and on March 2 in Amsterdam (Sugar Factory). On stage there are: Cristiano Godano – vocals and guitar, Luca Bergia – drums, percussion; Riccardo Tesio – guitar; and Luca Saporiti on bass. For the new album, the group recently launched an experiment involving fans and four music magazines: OndaRock, Onstage, Rockit and Rockol. From today until the release of the album, other bands or artists will be able to write the music for the title track of the new album, creating their own personal version. Those interested can take the text from the official website of Marlene Kuntz, on the Facebook page and its partner sites and send their registration no later than 28 January 2016. Three compositions will be chosen and their authors will have the ability to open the first Italian concert of the national tour. The winner will be announced in early February. (Red)
