29 December 2015 – The Italian Cultural Institute of San Francisco hosts a special event dedicated to Made in Italy, its creativity, culture and the Italian genius. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, January 20 at the Institute (601 Van Ness Ave, Suite F, San Francisco) and will star Boze Hadleigh, author of “Celebrity Feuds!” And “Hollywood and Whine”. Boze has written more than 15 books and hundreds of publications for magazines and newspapers. For the occasion, the Institute will present his book “492 Great Things about Being Italian,” a real journey to discover what’s the best Italy has to offer. The book is an account of Italians and Italian-Americans successes in gastronomy, literature, music, science, architecture, popular culture and many other fields. “Those of Italian descent – said the Italian Cultural Institute of San Francisco, as stated on the site – will have the opportunity once again to feel proud about their ancestors, while Italophiles will discover new reasons for their interest in a country that they love.” (Gil)
