Moscow – The 2016 plan for the implementation of initiatives aimed at the internationalization of Liguria companies reveals that for €600.000 the following sectors will be strengthened: agri-food, horticulture, crafts and high-tech. This was decided by the Regional Government on a proposal of the Regional Councilor for Economic Development, Edoardo Rixi. Under the regional program, select companies will engage more with counterparts in Italy, Europe, North America and the Far East. “We want to enhance the production of Ligurian excellence and focus on innovation and the promotion of quality in our territory to revive the entire economic system,” explained Rixi. “We have already initiated numerous contacts with institutional representatives in various foreign countries to create real opportunities for interaction. In the near future, we aim to settle the relationship with the Russian Federation, whose market potential we firmly believe in, given its strong interest towards our region and products made in Liguria. ” (9Colonne)
