(4 January 2016) Craftsmanship and sacredness bring a touch of Made in Italy in the Grotto of Bethlehem. For the second consecutive year, Decobel – an Italian company active in luxury textile industry, based in Montemurlo, in the Prato province – provided precious fabric to decorate the Grotto of the Nativity. The cave, damaged in a fire, returned to its former glory also thanks to Decobel. The Tuscan company participated in the restoration of the Grotto by donating a lampas fabric with a silk warp and weft in linen and viscose. The shades of blue and refined gold ornaments represent the starry sky, flooding with light all surfaces, adding to the sacredness of the location. (Red)
