Brdo – Eusalp is a new Alpine macro-region within the European Union that will be officially launched in Brdo, Slovenia, on January 25-26. In view of the launch, the Regional Pesidents of Trentino, Alto Adige and Lombardy Ugo Rossi Arno Kompatscher and Roberto Maroni will meet tomorrow – Wednesday 20 – at 6pm, at the Trento Palace of the Region to discuss Eusalp, which includes Italy, Austria, France, Germany, Slovenia and two non-EU countries (Switzerland and Liechtenstein). The new reality touches about 70 million inhabitants, divided among 48 regions. For Italy, the regions directly involved are Alto Adige, Trentino, Liguria, Piedmont, Valle d’Aosta, Lombardy, Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia. (9Colonne)
