Zagreb – Zagreb hosted today the coordination meeting organized by the Permanent Conference of Mediterranean Audiovisual Operators (COPEAM) of Mediterranean TV networks for the exchange of news carried out every day by the European Broadcasting Union and the Algerian public television. There 16 networks are taking part in the meeting, including the public televisions of Algeria, Croatia, Italy, Morocco, Spain, Switzerland and Tunisia. The meeting wants to revive this activity, which to date includes an exchange of 1.000 news per year, and wants to ensure that, in light of the tragic events taking place in the Mediterranean, it is carried out with great professionalism and attention to the narrative of facts. On the sidelines of the workshop, the Secretary General of COPEAM, Pier Luigi Malesani, met the Director General of the Public Television of Croatia, Goran Radman, with whom he defined a series of joint cooperation projects.
