(3 February 2016) Exploring the European Union, studying closely its workings: with this objective, the Office for Relations with the EU of the Autonomous Province of Trento has organized, for tomorrow and the day after, in collaboration with the University of Trento, a visit to Brussels for a group of professors and researchers of the University. The office will welcome the delegation and will give a first overview of the services offered, the directly managed European funding programs and synergies among European funds. After the preliminary introduction, an intense program of meetings will follow: with the Directorate General for Research and Innovation of the European Commission and the Research Executive Agency (REA). The aim is to address, together with key partners, the many aspects of interest to the University of Trento within the EU framework program for research and innovation: international cooperation within H2020, ethical aspects of H2020, the characteristics and orientation of the 2016-2017 work programs… On Friday, February 5 the Trento delegation will meet with APRE, the Agency for the Promotion of European Research, which will provide an overview of its services. APRE houses all National Contact Points of Horizon 2020 in Italy, which provide to public entities and private individuals support for the participation in programs in the field of Research, Technological Development and Innovation and the transfer of research results.
