(5 February 2016) A stand to raise awareness of Trentino businesses and producers among German buyers taking part in Berlin’s Fruit Logistica (scheduled until today). The Trentino Region is reporting excellent results in terms of interest and business contacts: local producers are represented by the APOT, Melinda, La Trentina and Sant’Orsola cooperatives, accompanied under the territorial brands of Trentino Sviluppo Trentino and Marketing. The Berlin trade fair provided an opportunity to promote a series of institutional and business meetings, starting from the visit, received on 3 February at the Trentino stands from Italian Ambassador in Berlin Pietro Benassi, and that of the ITA Berlin Office Director Fabio Casciotti. The regional stand, which is spread over 235 square meters, also hosts a hospitality area where guests can sample the culinary excellence of the territory and the special features of the region’s tourism and environmental traits. “Fruit Logistica is now the most important event in the world for fruits and vegetables – says Michele Dallapiccola, the Councilor for Agriculture, Tourism and Promotion of the Autonomous Province of Trento – and Trentino participates in this event by bringing its companies that are more present on international markets in a space that enhances common territorial belonging.” (Red)
