Itajai – On May 4-7 Itajaí, in the Brazilian state of Santa Catarina, hosts the second edition of Fimar, an Italian-Brazilian sea economy fair. Entirely dedicated to nautical technology, subcontracting and design, the initiative is the result of a series of agreements signed between the Italian Government, through the Ministry of Economic Development, UCINA Confindustria Nautica and the Santa Catarina government. The fair is organized by Brazil Planet in cooperation with UCINA, Federpesca, Assonautica Italiana and Acatmar, the Nautical Association of Santa Catarina. Participating Italian companies will be assisted by Italian Trade Agency officers, with an “Italian Point” that wants to be a place of welcome and information for operators and visitors, showcasing the important role played by the Italian boating industry on the world stage.
