Beijing – Tuscan wine exports to non-EU countries travel at triple speed, with a much higher increase than the national average in the first nine months of 2015. According to Osservatorio Business Strategies Paesi Terzi, edited by Nomisma Wine Monitor, Tuscany saw its exports grow by 29.4%, compared to 9% of the Italian average. It’s an unprecedented achievement for Tuscany, reached thanks to the boom in exports to the US (+47.3% against the +15.3% of the national average) but also the leap in China (+44.9%, where the national average is 16.9%) and Canada (+33.7% where the national average is 13.4%). The Osservatorio analysis will be presented in full at Buy Wine (February 12-13), a two-day B2B event held in Florence, of which Business Strategies is a partner, organized by Toscana Promozione.
