Minsk – The Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Benedetto Della Vedova will be until 24 February in Minsk, leading a delegation of business associations and companies to co-chair the first Joint Economic Commission between Italy and Belarus. The delegation includes representatives of the Foreign Ministry, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Italian Trade Agency and Confindustria. Talks will focus on how to further bilateral economic relations, facilitating market access and identifying existing opportunities – also in light of the recent suspension by the EU of most sanctions on Belarus regarding human rights, rule of law and adoption.
