Rio de Janeiro – The National Museum of Fine Arts of Brazil in Rio de Janeiro (Av. Rio Branco, 199) is displaying two Italian painting masterpieces dedicated to the patron saint of the Brazilian city: “San Sebastiano” by Guido Reni and the “San Sebastiano curate da Irene” by Guercino. It’s a tribute from Italy to the Brazilian capital on the occasion of the Year of Italy in Latin America to also celebrate the 450th anniversary since the foundation of Rio de Janeiro.
