Amsterdam – Lightness and simplicity are the key elements necessary to achieve clear classical music, available to everyone, not just the aficionados. This is the ultimate aim of the Florentine piano duo Mad Emoiselle Sarabande, composed of Elettra Capecchi and Carlotta Forasassi. The two will put their theory to the test on Thursday, March 31 at 8pm, when they’ll perform at the Italian Cultural Institute of Amsterdam in a concert dedicated to the “Americas”. The duo will play music by Gershwin, Scott Joplin, Milhaud, and Pieranunzi, with whom they have a precious ongoing record collaboration. (9Colonne)
