Abu Dhabi. The Italian Institute for Foreign Trade, together with the Associazione Italiana Editori (AIE), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism, and the Centro per il Libro e la Lettura, are organizing Italy’s participation at the Abu Dhabi International Bookfair, where Italy is guest of honour. The Fair will take place in Abu Dhabi from 27 April to 3 May 2016, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). Italy’s participation will include a rich cultural programme and exhibitions. It will feature three areas, including in particular an institutional area for illustrators from Bologna’s own book fair, where a sales area with books by Italian authors in Arabic and English translations will be available, and a business area for meetings between exhibiting publishers and their visiting peers.
