The twelfth National Convention of people of Trento in Australia was held in Myrtleford, Australia. This year’s convention celebrates the 50th anniversary of Father Ferruccio Bertagnolli’s priestly order and the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Myrtleford Trentino Circle, who is hosting the event. Provincial Councillor and members of the Conference Consultants Lucia Maestri and Claudio Civettini are part of the delegation from Trentino. “We’re very happy to be here, I bring you the greetings of President Rossi. A piece of Trentino is here thanks to you. Memory takes us back to the trip you took years ago, full of hope and your expectations that were rewarded later in life. A life that you have spent here in connection with the locals and other Italians, never forgetting your roots” says Councillor Maestri.
