(7 June 2016) The Vocal Quintet Euphonia Ensemble will perform in Scutari, in the fifth edition of the Festival of Modern Music, Sunday, June 12 (20:00) at the Italy Palace, seat of the Honorary Italian Consulate, which promotes the concert along with the Italian Cultural Institute in Tirana. Euphonia Ensemble (composed by: Mary Gautschi – soprano, Renata Tosi – mezzosoprano, Yama Kapidani Luberti – alto, Francesco Naso – tenor, Lorenzo Sansoni – baritone / bass) embraces music, rhythm and particular sounds from various cultures of the world with jazz arrangements and performances. The most striking feature of this project is the particular sound, which, thanks to the elegant music solutions specially created by the composer Markelian Kapedani, the Euphonia’s sound becomes a recognizable symbol and particular brand. The addition of singers with the most remarkable and diverse musical background has created new arrangements around the project which has now taken the form of an acapella group. (Red)
