Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs Vincenzo Amendola visited Tripoli yesterday where new Libyan authorities are fighting for stability and to eradicate Daesh’s presence in the country. Amendola met with the Prime Minister Fayez al-Sarraj, Deputy Prime Minister Ahmed Maiteeq, Foreign Minister Mohamed Taha Siala, Transportation Minister Matouq, Minister of Local Government Bidad Gansou Massoud and President Abdulrahman Swehli. Amendola confirmed Italy’s support in stabilising Libya and its interest in assisting the National Unity Government. (9colonne)
