Montpellier. A collaboration agreement signed between the ARCA Consortium, a business incubator at the University of Palermo, represented by Umberto La Commare, and the Montpellier Méditerranée Metropole incubator, represented by Chantal Marion. The agreement was signed on the occasion of the twinning between the City of Palermo and the Metropolitan City of Montpellier signed by the mayor of Palermo, Leoluca Orlando, and Philippe Saurel, mayor of Montpellier. In order to promote and encourage the development and growth of innovative companies in their respective geographical areas, the ARCA Consortium and Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole (MMM), a leader in Frenchinnovation, will pool and coordinate their resources, representing a joint startup platform for regional companies with a propensity to foreign markets. In practice, the two structures will host companies and projects wishing to develop internationally, providing them a space and services and a “coach” who will act as a liaison between the project manager and the local point of reference for the duration of the project.
